Group Volunteer Opportunities
The Oregon Garden has a variety of volunteer opportunities that are suitable for groups of 5 or more. We partner with a wide range of corporate, community, faith and educational groups to provide support to our thriving 80-acre botanical garden that showcases the diverse botanical beauty of the Willamette Valley and the Pacific Northwest.
All About Volunteering
Volunteer groups provide support to our Horticulture Department as well as at our many Special Events.
Volunteering with Horticulture may include planting annuals, raking, weeding, clearing invasive species, and other gardening tasks.
Volunteering at Special Events may include positions such as Greeter, Line Control, Information Booth, Children’s Activity Assistants, and more.
We offer flexible volunteer scheduling.
Horticulture volunteer opportunities are generally available Monday through Saturday in 3-4 hour shifts with the last shift beginning at 1pm. Contact the Volunteer Coordinator if your group has different time needs.
Special Event shifts are usually 4 hours and our Special Events often occur on the weekends and evenings. Please see our Events page for a full list of special events.
