Our Work:

Gardens give individuals hands-on exposure to nature to promote their health and well-being. The Oregon Garden’s mission is to demonstrate to the public the scope of biodiversity that grows in Oregon’s Willamette Valley Region. The Oregon Garden is not only a premier tourist destination but the largest botanical garden in our state. We create a habitat for pollinators, provide education to students and adults and resources on sustainable and environmental gardening practices. The Oregon Garden’s wetland also serves an important local ecological role of cooling the City of Silverton’s treated wastewater so that it is safe to reenter Brush Creek, a Salmon spawning creek.
