Red barberry and geum at The Oregon Garden in Silverton.

COVID-19 UPDATE

The Garden is currently OPEN.
No reservations required.

As of 4/30/21, Marion County has re-entered the Extreme Risk category as pertains to slowing the spread of the coronavirus. As an outdoor venue, The Oregon Garden can currently welcome a maximum of 100 guests at a time. Our attendance is such that we have not had to implement timed ticketing, nor have guests had to wait to gain entry to the Garden. Simply arrive and purchase your tickets from our Visitor Center. We are constantly monitoring guest attendance and if we find that we are regularly meeting the 100 guest cap, we will make adjustment to our admission policies. No such changes are necessary at this time – so please, pay us a visit at your leisure, no reservations required!

A few changes we’ve made in response to COVID-19, to ensure the health and wellbeing of our guests, staff and volunteers:

– Our drinking fountains have been turned off. Bottled water may be purchased at our Café or you may bring your own.
– Some restrooms will be closed, to ensure proper cleaning between guests.
– Please maintain a 6′ distance from other guests at all times.
Note that masks are required in indoor spaces at all times. It is necessary to enter our Visitor Center to purchase admission, so please plan accordingly.

A note on the status of the Garden:

As has been the case for most everyone, the past year has been incredibly difficult for the Garden. It has seen us endure the loss of a significant amount of revenue, and we have had to make extremely difficult decisions around staffing. Alongside our dedicated volunteers, we are working extremely hard to ensure a wonderful experience for our guests and the persistence of the Garden well into the future. You may notice more weeds in the Garden than usual: however, we know you will find flowers here, too. Thank you for your support and your patience as we grow together to overcome the challenges facing us. We look forward to seeing you soon.
