Home School Day at The Oregon Garden

10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Pre-registration not required
Kids will have fun participating in the following educational topics:
• Wetland habitat & aquatic insects
• Fun with edible plants
• Forest habitat & wildlife
• Forest fire truck & wildfire prevention
• Tree and leaf identification
• Creation station
• Honey bees & the world of insects
• Tropical plant adaptations
The Oregon Garden would like to invite all home school students ages 5-12 to a fun filled day of outdoor learning. Experience the beauty of the Garden in late summer bloom! Learn about your natural world and get inspired with fun science and art activities. We offer hands-on, self-paced learning stations throughout the Garden.
ADMISSION
Check in at the Visitors Center to pay admission and receive packet with map and station information. Event admission rates:
Adults $8.00
Students (8-18) $6.00
Children 7 and under Free
Admission includes tram ride and event packets. Bring a bag lunch or purchase one at the Visitor's Center Cafe and enjoy in the Garden.
