Homeschool Month

September – October 2020

Every September, The Oregon Garden hosts a Home School Day event for homeschool students and their families. Due to COVID-19, this year’s Home School Day is going to look a little different. Instead of a one-day event, we are encouraging families to come out to the Garden during September – October for “Home School Month.

Students and families who visit The Oregon Garden in September – October will receive a packet of educational activities that they can complete while in the Garden or at home. This allows students and families to visit on any day that works with their schedule that month and stay socially distanced from other people in the Garden.

Pre-registration not required. Have fun learning about the following educational topics:

  1. Fire safety & prevention
  2. Forest habitats & wildlife
  3. Fun with trees
  4. Plant adaptations and crafts
  5. Fun with pollinators
  6. Critter Bingo

Homeschool Day Admission:

  • Adults $12
  • Students (12-17) $9
