The Oregon Garden would like to invite homeschool students ages 5 to 12 to a fun-filled day of outdoor learning! Experience the beauty of the Garden in late summer bloom, while learning about the natural world and get inspired with fun science and art activities. We offer hands-on, self-paced learning stations throughout the Garden. We look forward to seeing you at the event.


Pre-registration not required. Have fun participating in the following educational topics:

  • Wetland habitat & aquatic insects
  • Fire safety & prevention
  • Forest habitats & wildlife
  • Agriculture
  • Clean water
  • Fun with trees
  • The world of insects
  • Plant adaptations
  • Farm life
  • Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)

Home School Day Admission

  • Adults $9
  • Students (5-17) $4
  • Children 4 & under Free

Check in at the Visitors Center to pay admission and pick up your necessary documents [map & station information]. Admission includes access to 80 acres and event stations. Bring a bag lunch or purchase food at the Visitor Center Cafe.
