Join us on July 3rd for Silverton Day, live music and a beautiful fireworks display, planned by the Oregon Garden Foundation.
The fireworks display will take place around 10pm. In response to the tree growth, fire hazard and safety issues, the fireworks display will again be held on the hill located just west of the Oregon Garden Resort’s main lodge, and will include a show that is designed just for this venue.
The Oregon Garden Foundation has worked with Western Display Fireworks to utilize new technologies, often reserved for sporting events held in indoor stadiums, to create a more intimate show and up-close viewing opportunities. Because of this, the fireworks will be best viewed from within The Oregon Garden, namely the Silverton Market Garden and Axis Garden, and views from outside areas will be obstructed.
For our ADA guests, we suggest parking at the Visitor Center and viewing the fireworks from the Bosque.
General Admission, 9am to 6pm
Students (12-17) $8
Children (5-11) $5
Children (4 & under) free
Silverton Residents (must show proof of residency): Free
Garden Members (must show membership card): Free
After 6pm, admission is free for the fireworks. A donation of $5 per family is suggested to help cover the cost of the fireworks.
Seating is first-come, first-served. We recommend bringing sand chairs (short lawn chairs) and blankets to sit on while enjoying the music and fireworks. Tall chairs can be used, but will need to sit in the back so all guests can see.
Annually, the fireworks display costs between $10,000 and $15,000. Donations are being sought to help offset the cost of the fireworks display. To make a contribution, contact the Oregon Garden Foundation at 503-874-2535, email@example.com, mail a check to Oregon Garden Foundation, P.O. Box 155, Silverton, OR 97381, or make a contribution through Network for Good and include “Fireworks” as the designation.
On-site parking is $5 after 6pm.
