SPECIALTY GARDENS

Children's Garden– This garden is a fanciful place for children of all ages to learn and play. It features interesting and unusual plants, like the monkey puzzle tree, unicorn grass and beauty berry, as well as animal topiary, a 'Dinosaur Dig' and the Alice-in-Wonderland-like experience of the Taper Tunnel. Summer Saturdays feature hands-on activities for youngsters and families in the garden's Creation Station. There is an amphitheater in the Children's Garden that is used during Saturday 4 Kids as well as many of the environmental education programs.
