The Oregon Garden offers an inspirational setting for your next meeting, conference or social event. Whether it is a banquet or an outdoor celebration such as a wedding, The Garden offers an extraordinary environment that will make your event very special. Located 40 miles southeast of Portland at 15 miles east of Salem, facilities include classrooms, banquet hall, reception and conference-style arrangements plus ample parking for your guests. The Garden can also provide tables, chairs, equipment and a list of preferred caterers to fulfill your needs. To arrange your group event, call 503-874-6005.

The outdoor garden areas can accommodate up to 2,000 and offer expansive views of the Willamette Valley and beautiful sunsets.

Grand Hall

The spacious Grand Hall is in the J. Frank Schmidt Jr. Pavilion adjacent to The Garden Green. It can accommodate up to 600 for meals and 1,200 for a reception. The room is equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system and a 12' by 24' stage that is a focal point for performances and speakers. The building provides easy access for load/unload, move-in and set up.

Hall of Fame & Conference rooms

The Oregon Association of Nurseries Hall of Fame and the Oregon State University Conference rooms provides comfortable meeting and classroom space and an intimate setting for small receptions and parties. The room will accommodate 70 for a banquet and 90 for a reception or theater-style seating for a meeting. Adorning the walls are plaques honoring industry members along with text and large photomurals chronicling the history of the nursery industry.

Natural Resource Education Center

Located near the main parking lot, the building's two meeting rooms are divided by an accordion-style wall so they can be combined into one large room. The room can accommodate up to 90 for meals, 220 for a reception, 180 I theater seating and 50 classroom-style.

The Greenhouse & Botanical Areas

Adjacent to the Grand Hall, the Greenhouse looks out onto the Garden Green and Rose Garden. Perfect for a small gathering the fully heated and cooled Greenhouse can seat up to 64 people in banquet style setting.

Pronounced bohs-Kay, this Spanish word means “grove.” This “grove” is a large, central plaza featuring four brick reflecting ponds, and 40 large containers each planted with a single Pacific Sunset Maple. The Bosque is an architectural environment at the crossroads of The Garden. Ideal for a wedding or other romantic event, the bosque provides a fairy-tale like setting for up to 200 people.

The Garden Green is a level half-acre lawn next to the Rose Garden and water features and is just steps from the J. Frank Schmidt Jr. Pavilion. The Garden Green can accommodate up to 2,000. Only available in Garden Dream wedding package (however, exceptions may be made - please call for more information).
